Tell me a time you failed forward and what you learned from the experience
I thought I’d married Prince Charming. Seven years in, he turned into a toad in a tuxedo — and I found out too late that he was no better with money than I was, because I’d handed the whole thing to him. Divorce, then bankruptcy followed. And bankruptcy doesn’t just cost you money — it makes you a suspect in every financial transaction for years. Double deposits, holds on funds, treated like a pariah. That was rock bottom. But it’s also where I learned the thing I now teach: being taken care of and being safe are not the same thing. I didn’t get smarter. I got taught — finally — the skills nobody hands you in school.
What are your biggest obstacles and barriers to success?
Real capacity constraints, pre-deciding for potential clients if they can afford the program, momentum breaks caused by health challenges, before the effects can compound
