How is your company using automation or robotics in production? Our factory partners have automated steel cutting, bending, and welding processes.

What steps are you taking to improve efficiency and reduce waste? All of our factory partners are required to use renewable materials to the extent possible.

How are you dealing with global supply chain and labor challenges? I travel personally to our manufacturing partners, and we are assembling the product ourselves in Chicago to improve and control quality.

What innovations are driving change in your manufacturing processes? There are some exciting developments in materials science.

How do you ensure product quality and compliance? We have third-party inspection built in to the manufacturing process and we do the assembly ourselves with quality checking.

What role does sustainability play in your strategy? Our product is made out of highly-recyclable steel. But mainly, we are making a quality, heavy-duty product that consumers can use for decades. We are also members of 1% For The Planet.

Where do you see the future of manufacturing heading? I think that it is time to bring manufacturing back to overlooked and bypassed communities.
